Easter 2007

Hello everyone! Happy Resurrection Day! I'm so glad to know that Jesus made a way to heaven when there was previously NO WAY! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice on that cross so I could come be with you forever!

We started things off with a fun activity before church... we dyed the eggs, then added goofy eyes and mouths and they came out awesome! Check these out...

Nick was NAMING them all! I told him not to get too attached, because they were going to get EATEN!! LOL!

Church was wonderful this morning. We had a total of 117 people in service, and Adam sang a solo in the children's choir. Jason and I sang a duet at the beginning of communion. We haven't done that since our wedding day!!!

After dinner at Peter's place, I felt like the blob that ate New York! So, the ladies went for a walk, and the guys tossed the football around in a very manly way...

Suddenly, to their surprise, the EASTER BUNNY came walking up to them! Nick was so excited! Adam knows better, but thought it was fun anyway. :-) Here are a few cool pictures...

Of course, once the girls got back from our walk, we needed a photo op with the bunny too!

Next, we piled as many of us as possible into Julie's new vehicle, which is a Toyota higlander HYBRID. It was cool... Laurel and I were scrunched into the back back seat (way back), and George was feeling goofy and took this picture of us smooshed in the car! LOL!!!

OK... now this next section of the blog is going to involve a little "catch-up" because these pics have been saved on my little camera for a while now. First... the evil white stuff in my back yard on April 6th. This is called "Indian Winter"...I don't get it...

Now here are a few pictures from the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby 2007!

We have Adam and Nick singing the Moose Song (note the antlers).

These are pictures of the boys' derby cars.... although it is on an angle and you can't see the sides at all... this is Lightning McQueen!

And Adam's car is super sleek (and very underweight, hence the drill bits sitting on top). It would have done much better in competition if we had left the bits OFF!
And there you have it, folks! The latest and greatest updates on the life of the Ziter clan! I am falling asleep at the computer, so it's time to hit the sack. Good night all!

What a fun update, Meet-shell! I'm glad to hear your family is doing well! Brace yourself for more of the evil white stuff. So much for Punxsutawney Phil's prediction of an early Spring! Stay warm and safe. Take care.

:-)
