Monday, he and I went before the district board (mostly him!!!) to interview for his local minister's license. It was a nerve-wracking day, but well worth it in the end! I am immensely proud of him for answering the call of God on his life, and I know that God will do amazing things through Jason. Way to go, Jay!!!!!

Congratulations!!!
I don't know how the whole becoming a minister works, but do you have to go to school for that? How does it work?
Hey Beth, great to hear from you... been thinking of you a lot lately. In our organization, the requirements for local licensing are:
1. Reading 10 books on our doctrine and theology
2. Spend x-amount of time under your pastor in leadership
3. Read the entire Bible through
4. Preach 26 messages in 6 months
5. Go before the district board
It's been a long process, and I'm so proud of him!!
How are YOU doing? Been praying for you and your son.
whoot whoot congrats Jason!!
That is so interesting on how 1 becomes a minister in your church. 26 messages in 6 months..wow, that's alot! I would be shaking in my boots the entire time!
I truly appreciate your prayers, they are very much needed. I'm hanging in there..you know what's sad though? I time my trips to the store at times when I know none of them will be there. Not that I'am afraid of them or anything, I don't want the harassment. I feel like a prisoner sometimes ya know? One day it will not be like this and I pray for that day to come, ☺
congratulations to the entire Ziter family...but most especially to Jason - lots of hard work and study...still it is God's anointing on his life and when God makes a way it is awesome!
